Adam Broughton along with brothers Paul Johnston (Bass) and Steve
Johnston (Guitar) are the core members of the jazz group PANACHE.
In 1992 they released their independent debut CD “Take us Home”.
In 1996 they re-released their debut CD under Preservation Records
Inc. with added material and titled it “Take Us Home Again”.
This was then followed up with “It's About Time” and an
award from Jazz Report Magazine for Vocal Jazz Group of the year in
1997. PANACHE released an additional CD “Styles” in 1999.
Adam Broughton, now performing as Adam James, originated the role
of Frank Sinatra in the Casino de Montreal run of “Sinatra Remembered
– Le Spectacle” co-produced by Tina Sinatra. Adam has
fronted the London and Detroit Symphony Orchestras with “A Toast
To Ol’ Blue Eyes” and was recently in Toronto with the
London hit “The Rat Pack”. Prior to this Adam had completed
a successful five month run of “Our Sinatra” at New York
City's famous jazz venue Birdland.
